From my Dad's backyard garden: tomato, basil, baby lettuce (romaine, bibb) and parsley. We had it with fried eggs and toast - a little asiago cheese sprinkled, balsamic & olive oil.

You should note that the garden is waist-high. Or so I have heard.
ReplyDeleteThat IS important. Yes. Everything in the garden is at a convenient waist-level height so that my intrepid father does not have to BEND OVER TO GARDEN. (Picnic table, wheelbarrow, flower pots.)
