Someone had a *bagel* for breakfast.


(ME.) I was the carb monster at Whole Foods last night because they had Udi's Gluten Free white bread, multigrain bread, AND bagels. It is sometimes impossible to buy anything you want in New York City because someone else always gets there first. So I seized the opportunity.

Bagel: it's no Bruegger's. You don't have to do a whole lot of chewing, which is probably better in the long run for my tired jaw and capped front tooth. It's light and crispy (after a short toasting) and DEFINITELY better than Lender's. (It doesn't taste like paper.) Also, one bagel clocks in at only 280 calories. You should SEE the nutrition information on some of those other frozen gf bagels. I can barely lift them let alone carry them home on the subway, like a bag full of rocks.
