In an effort to avoid the sticky, embarrassing addiction to
kettle corn (that I believe we all go through at different points in our lives) I am attempting to buy things which are "less delicious." If something is not
too delicious I will eat less of it. It's all about landing somewhere between
delicious and
addictive.
I thought these chips were just for rich people who want to look cool at parties. Not so! Because I'm eating them.
Anyone can do it.[Note: do
not get confused and buy the patriotic mix of this brand which includes the odious beet-chip. Nothing against beets, but,
blech.]

Next we take the necessary plain chip accoutrement. Hummus. This kind is
good. It doesn't taste like mayonnaise like
Sabra does - even though I love Sabra. It has that real chickpea consistency, if you know what I mean.

One of the fun things about being gluten-free is that since you can't eat
bread, you are allowed to eat a
snack for a
meal. "Oh, I can't have a sandwich...
I deserve chips."
I like the gluten free excuse for a snack for a meal, although I never needed an excuse when I was eating gluten. Well, I'm not very hungry, I'll have cinnamon rolls for lunch!!!
